Who is Saul?

Each morning before school, my 9 year old boy and I do a short, silent meditation, followed by a reading. Sometimes he is engaged, somtimes just bothered by the school day to come. It took us a year to get through Matthew, and now we are on Acts. We have reached the stoning of Stephen, and it is soooo obvious to him that the young Saul is somebody. ‘Who is it Dad? Tell me!’ he demands, with two-thirds of the genuine wonder of a boy thinking about his Christmas stocking.
I had never noticed that Acts was that well written before. I wonder what he will think of the ending.
